How do I access my score?
Select “Exams” under the Student tab. Then select “Check My Scores”. You will be prompted to login with an existing User ID and Password, or create a new one and include your email address and the exam session number. Once logged in the screen will change and be titled “My Exams”. Click on the correct exam session number to retrieve your class score analysis. If your exam session number does not appear, add your exam session number to the box under the “Don’t See Your Class?” section of the page. Download the help document (this should be a link).
How do I access the exams?
In order to access the exams, select “Educator Services” under the Educator tab. Then select “Schedule Exams” under the Manage and Schedule Exams header. You will then be walked through the process to schedule an exam, which culminates in a link to download the exams and the Exam Information Form for the print-based exams or a Proctor Access Code for online exams.
How do I print my Certificate?

Once completed you will be able to select the certificate you would like to print by clicking “Print/Reprint” on the right hand side of the screen. What do I do if I do not accept the Test Use Agreement?
If you disagree with the terms and conditions of the Test Use Agreement, you are eligible to receive a refund for equal to the cost of an unused Answer Sheet or Exam Access Code. To receive a refund, the Test Use Agreement Refund Form must be submitted along with the required documentation as stated on the form. Link to this information (should be link to form).
Retake the Exam
Which answer sheets should my students use and where should I purchase them?
Beginning with the 2010-2011 academic year, all students should be using the new answer sheet sold through Pearson. Even if you are testing your students on the Becoming a Restaurant & Foodservice Professional Year1 or Year 2 exams, you must use the new answer sheet. The new answer sheet has been redesigned for enhanced usability, to enable student access to scores and to support electronic certificates of recognition.
How long will exams be offered for the second edition?
Exams based on the second edition will be offered and scored through the 2013-2014 academic year.
I don’t have an email address, how do I access my score or certificate?
In order to access you score and electronic certificate, you must have an email address. We recommend setting up a free Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo email account.
I failed the exam – how do I retest?
You may retest up to three times within a 90-day period. If you are interested, let your educator know that you’d like to retest. He or she will then order you a new answer sheet or exam access code and administer the retest.
Where can I find the Exam Information Form?
The Exam Information Form will no longer be accessed through your ProStart Coordinator. All exams (print-based or online) must be scheduled online. When you schedule the exam, it will generate an Exam Information Form for you to send in with the answer sheets (if you administer a print-based exam).
What is the format of the exam and what is the passing score?
The exams are multiple choice. For the Level 1 and Level 2 exams (100 questions each) the passing score is 70%.
